I am currently cycling from Antwerp, Belgium, to France, Spain and Portugal and back. I plan my trajectory from day to day and usually I do not follow established cycling routes. I have a blog with biweekly (more or less) trip reports and separate blogposts about cultural visits.
Since I am raising funds for a Tibetan monastery in India, I also visit Tibetan places underway. You can follow my travels and visits on www.reachoutforacause.org. Blog has several filters so you can also look at my previous bike tours (Nordkapp, Britain - Ireland - Scotland, around the Netherlands and around Belgium (Covid years).

I created this YouTube video of my bike tour from FL to WA. I planned this route because I read the three most challenging things when you tour are the Hills, Heat, and Boredom. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FxFIY2ChTFw
Hello everyone,
Here are links to both our YouTube channel and website/blog.
We are very excited to start our 2023 Trans America Adventure in early June. Lots of info goin up on the website over then next couple weeks, and of course we will capture and post it all on YouTube, Facebook, and a bit of Instagram..
I hope you can find some time to follow along.. https://www.youtube.com/@unscripted6160 https://www.unscripted6160.com
Part of our tour will be about a project we are doing in collaboration with the National Association of REALTORS, and their Realtor Relief Foundation. It is a good cause and 100% of any funds donated go directly to disaster victims. You can find more info on the website..
I already posted here a long time ago with a video of my tour of Australia with my partner, Bonnie.
I've since finished uploading the entire tour - a massive series of 93 videos! So those of you who want a long series to get your teeth into have your answer right here!
Since finishing the tour videos, I've begun uploading Tutorials, Guides, Tips & Tricks videos and even a local overnighter video in the area we're currently residing until we set off on tour again. So even if you're not into touring videos or have already watched the series, there's plenty of new content being added and hopefully some of it is actually useful information for touring cyclists.
Hi folks ! Here is the video of my 1st trip through Europe, 4 months, 12 countries and 6300km on my own :). This was 2 years ago and in a few days I'll hit the road again but this time with my girlfriend, from France to Greece, maybe Istanbul ? and I'm planning to post more videos while traveling so you can suscribe if interested ;)
The video is in French but I made english subtitles,
Hope you'll like it ! ;)
I just completed a tour from Boston to Washington DC (the roundabout way). I had five awesome Warmshowers hosts along the way. Here is the last day of my journey: One Last Ride, D.C., Dropping off Bike, Metro, Airport, and Homeward Bound 6:30am to 4:00am EDT https://youtube.com/shorts/UTGMQQbNT2M?feature=share
Just as we crossed over from our 2nd last country in Europe into Asia, we met the sweetest lady Stamantia in Ormenio, Greece who took us in for 2 nights when she saw that we were looking for a place to set up our tent.
Definitely the people we have met. Just as we crossed over from our 2nd last country in Europe into Asia, we met the sweetest lady Stamantia in Ormenio, Greece who took us in for 2 nights when she saw that we were looking for a place to set up our tent. She was just one of the many, many good Samaritans we met along the way who have extended their kindness to us, despite not speaking a single word of English at all.
The following music video was inspired by my love of bicycle touring and created/brought to reality by Anne Reburn. I hope you enjoy it and feel the bicycle touring rhythm in it! I rode the section of bike trail featured in this video during my 2019 ride across the US. Enjoy!
Hello there Warmshowerites! I just recorded a podcast of a recent trip from Montpellier to Geneva along the Via Rhona. I spoke to and met so many intersting people, and have called it, 'What Does Cycling in France Sound like?' Here is the link. https://youtu.be/vDTrMRGVe4Q
I hope everyone is well and are on or planning exciting adventures of your own.
Peace, Joe

Only belatedly did I realize I could post here on WS. My bicycle-related blog is at https://attitude-maneuver.blogspot.com. The most recent series of posts there -- video links included -- are about my trip through Alaska, Yukon Territory, British Columbia, and Alberta to a finish in Montana in the summer of 2022. (For Alaska, read Dalton Highway; for Yukon, read Top of the World and Klondike Highways.)
In the blog you will also find my logs of riding the TransAm in 2021 and the Northern Tier in 2020. I hope my accounts may be of use to others planning similar trips!
Here’s the story of our journey last year, cycling from New York to San Fransisco. A life-changing experience, due in no small part to the incredible hospitality of the Warmshowers community we had the joy of staying with along the way. We hope you enjoy it!
We recently did a one year journey through 30 countries - we filmed the entire trip and are planning to produce around 60 episodes about the trip.
The first two episodes are available and the third premiers next week:

The secret it to pack well. Have tools ready and keep everything ties together in transit. If the box opens, nothing can spill out.
