I wanted to open up this opportunity to the community as I thought it might be of interest. I am coordinating a cycle tour around Scotland for environmental charity - The Otesha Project UK. I completed the tour myself 6 years ago, and honestly it changed my life!
Otesha cycle tours bring together teams of people to travel around the UK in a mobile community. We're proud to say that over the last 8 years, cycle tours have worked with 8,000 young people across the country! Learn to live in a low-impact way and inspire thousands of others in schools, youth clubs & communities to make positive changes in their own lives. We're looking for people to come with us this August on a pedal-powered mission across Scotland from 14th August -12th September 2015.
This year's tour will be head up North, cycling through some of Scotland's most amazing landscapes. We'll be delivering sustainability workshops in schools and communities, enjoying workshares at exciting community projects and learning all about the environment through diverse visits and inspiring people.
Volunteers will receive a jam-packed week of training covering school workshop facilitation, bike maintenance, road safety, consensus decision-making and not to mention a lot of fun times!
If you are in Scotland, and want to get involved, cycle with us or host the group - fantastic! Contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
