Hello warm showers,
As I live in the South coast of MA, I cannot handle mountains as well as I can cycle on flat see level :o) I am in he Hudson Valley area and I would like to cycle along the Hudson River (either side) between NYC and as far as poughkeepsie or Rhineback high.
I found bike trails a long the river but they don't seem to be continuous. Would I have a road that I can cycle all the way with the river on my side and keep the ride flat in its majority?
Here is the website with the bike trails I found: http://www.hudsongreenway.ny.gov/trailsandscenicbyways/trailsystem.aspx
I read about route 9. Would I be able to cycle on this route all the way or is there any restriction to bikes?
On Google map, when choosing the route by bike, it gives me an option way far from the Hudson River... https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Rhinebeck,+NY/Manhattan,+New+York,+NYfirstname.lastname@example.org,-73.8273761,13z/data=!4m14!4m13!1m5!1m1!1s0x89dd0c37fee324cb:0x28f7acdcba870909!2m2!1d-73.9074372!2d41.9318294!1m5!1m1!1s0x89c2588f046ee661:0xa0b3281fcecc08c!2m2!1d-73.9712488!2d40.7830603!3e1?hl=en
I appreciate any information on that.
